WHAT IS EVALUATED IN A DESIGN PAPER?


This test is administered to judge the skill, power of observation, innovation and design ability of the candidate. An important aspect of the test is the candidate's usage of colour and illustration. Accuracy, Neatness, Out of the box thinking, a natural, original and unique design sense are some of the parameters a student is judged upon.

Courses offered



The institute offers two kinds of courses


• Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD).
• Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD)


This 4-year undergraduate program is offered in 8 design disciplines under three faculties. Eligibility criteria for GDPD: Candidates having completed 12 years of schooling are eligible to apply. Admissions are based upon a highly competitive national test known as NID Design Aptitude Test conducted around the second week of January. The GDPD Design Aptitude Test consists of a 3 hour 100 marks test based on Design Problem Solving, Visual Sense, Observation & Perception, Environmental Awareness, Mental Ability and Communication skills which are asked through a range of visual and textual questions. Candidates qualifying in Aptitude test are called for Studio Test, Personal Interview and Portfolio Presentation. Successful candidates are notified of selection in the first week of May.

Academic Programs



The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. The test measures the aptitude of applicants for a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture, in areas like drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking, qualities that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to Architecture. NATA or the AIEEE B.Arch exam are prescribed by the Council of Architecture as a compulsory criteria for taking admission to any Architectural College or course in India.


Scheme of Examination


1. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by the Council of Architecture at national level for admission to 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized institutions across India.
2. NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different Government, Govt. Aided & Unaided schools / colleges of Architecture.
3. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability.
4. The test is in two parts. A paper based drawing test for two hours and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test.
5.The test is very easy

Regular Class

Regular Classes are held daily in morning and evening for four days a week


Weekend Class


▪ Career Capital conducts Weekend Classes for :-
▪ Students who are in Class XI.
▪ Students who are in Class XII.
▪ Students who are working in a regular job.
▪ Students who are can’t afford time daily.

Weekend Classes are held every Saturday and Sunday in evening and morning. To cover syllabus, classes are held on holidays also.
